      Three of the thirty, i.e. ten percent. of the components that constitute the Dow Jones Industrial Average 'The Dow', are set for removal and to be replaced, the owner of the bellwether index announced.
      In a Press Release issued on the August 24, 2020, S & P Dow Jones Indices, the proprietor of The Dow, advises that it shall be making the adjustments effective the August 31, 2020, by deleting Exxon Mobil Corp., Pfizer Inc. and Raytheon Technologies Corp., and adding Amegen Inc., Honeywell International Inc. and SalesForce.com Inc.
      These adjustments were prompted as a consequence of Apple Inc.'s impending 4 for 1 Stock Split, with the intention of offsetting the index's weight reduction, following the split on the August, 31, 2020.
      "This represents an opportunity for new businesses to be included in The Dow that better reflect the American Economy",   S & P Dow Jones Indices said.
